I have very mixed feelings about Dephini after this experience. What started as excitement quickly turned into frustration, confusion, and then eventually cautious appreciation once the necklace finally arrived. I originally ordered the necklace on the 15th of May 2026 as a birthday gift for my friend. The design on the website looked absolutely stunning and, for £38, the price seemed more than fair. I bought it almost instantly because it genuinely stood out from everything else I had seen online.
Then came 6 days of complete silence.
I sent two emails to their support address and received absolutely no response. I even called the phone number listed online and got voicemail only. Eventually, the company finally replied — strangely, only after I emailed their Gmail address directly. They apologised and claimed the website was supposedly in “holiday mode,” but honestly, that explanation raised more questions than answers. If the site was in holiday mode, why were customers still able to place orders? And why was there absolutely no notice anywhere on the website saying this? They also mentioned a “system error” that somehow allowed my order through. It all felt more like excuses than transparency.
Still, credit where it’s due: the necklace did finally arrive.
The presentation box was actually quite nice. Decent quality, clean logo, and it gave a good first impression. And when I opened it, the necklace genuinely looked stunning at first glance. I even sent a photo to my friend and her immediate response was simply: “Wow.”
Unfortunately, after closer inspection, the flaws became noticeable. The top middle section where the pendant hangs has almost no shine at all, despite the website photos clearly showing it as fully polished and reflective. That part alone makes the piece feel less premium than advertised.
The overall design is beautiful, though. The workmanship is genuinely impressive and unique, especially for the price. But the materials clearly let it down. It feels heavily reliant on plating rather than quality silver, and the rhodium-plated areas may irritate people with sensitive skin.
Honestly, this necklace could have been incredible if made with proper materials like solid sterling silver or white gold.
Will I buy from Dephini again? Maybe. The talent is clearly there. But until the quality and communication improve, I’ll probably look elsewhere.
